Kate captured our toddler’s personality so perfectly in the most simple, timeless way. No matter which style of portraiture you choose, my studio pricing is designed with flexibility in mind, allowing you to choose the perfect collection for your family. All portrait experiences begin with a non-refundable sitting fee to secure your session in our in-home boutique studio.

My vignette heirloom portraits are a timeless Southern tradition, designed to keep the focus exactly where it belongs: on your child. Photographed against a seamless white background and finished with a soft, artistic fade, these portraits capture the delicate details of youth. Free from passing trends, these elegant, minimalist masterpieces are crafted to hang proudly in your home today and be passed down for generations.
The Ideal Window
These sessions are perfectly suited for children from 8 months (sitting unassisted) up to 10 years old, capturing everything from babyhood milestones to the changing features of early youth.
Wardrobe Styling Tips (Client closet available)
To maintain the timeless, clean aesthetic of a vignette portrait, I recommend:

My Fine Art Personality Portraits are a premium, separate service designed to turn your child’s fleeting youth into a breathtaking work of art. Unlike traditional school photos or fast-paced snapshots, these upbeat, curated sessions focus on your child's soulful expressions and unique personality, creating a black & white, museum-quality masterpiece meant to hang prominently in your home forever.
Wardrobe Styling & Textures
To achieve that striking, timeless look, wardrobe choices focus on depth, texture, and muted tones.
I recommend:
- Rich Textures: Muslin, chunky knits, linen, lace, and corduroy that catch the light beautifully.
- Light and Earthy Color Palettes: Pastels, earthy tones, or classic cream.
- Vintage & Timeless Silhouettes: Simple dresses, overalls, henley or collared shirts.

Offered as a distinct service, these sessions go beyond simple smile-at-the-camera photos to document who your child truly is right now—their favorite hobbies, their quirky habits, and the magic of turning a year older.
Held in the Little Legacy Studio, I create a relaxed space where your child can let their true self shine, giving you a tangible time capsule of their current favorite chapter.
Please Note: Families are responsible for wardrobe and props. The studio may have a small selection of items to choose from, but there is no guarantee.
